Victor Smialek and Franz Woess Racing were off to the Czech Republic for the BNRO Circuit.
Despite a strange weekend where Victor felt uncomfortable in the car, he managed to snag a 2nd place finish in the first race. With a good start from third, Victor was able to climb to second and hold the position for the duration of the race despite feeling the car sliding. In the second race he briefly took the lead off the start and tried to focus on protecting the inside, which left the outside vulnerable and Victor was overtaken in the next corner to grab another 2nd place finish.
“[It was a] strange weekend, [the] car was sliding all the time. The track is very unique and hard on the tires, so they drop off quite rapidly and aggressively, but [I] managed to beat my class opponent by a margin which is a confidence booster for the next race.”.
Next up, Victor and Franz Woess Racing are back in Italy for the Monza Circuit.
