Victor Smialek and Franz Woess Racing made their return to the Vallelunga Circuit in Italy.
In the first race, Victor grabbed a 1st place finish. With 2 racers jumping and a chaotic start, Victor maintained position and took advantage of the safety car to guarantee his top finish. With momentum going into the second race, he built on a solid start to battle for several laps and eventually overtake the other drivers. After being hit from behind and sustaining damage to his car, Victor was able to muscle out a 2nd place finish.
“Good weekend. A couple guys in front got jump start penalties in Race 1, so I just kept the pace and stayed out of trouble because I knew they would be penalized. Race 2 was a little more eventful. [I] got a decent start but got hit from behind and had some rear wing damage and had to nurse the car back home.”.
